BELSON, Associate Judge:

Appellants were tried jointly on various charges arising out of two alleged armed robberies, the first on September 15, 1981, and the second on September 25,1981. Appellant Fields was found guilty of armed robbery, D.C.Code §§ 22-2901, -3202 (1981), with respect to each incident and of one count of carrying a pistol without a license, id. § 22-3204, with respect to the second incident.
