CIRILLO, Judge.

James S. Cheatham appeals from a judgment of sentence entered by the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County after his conviction in a non-jury trial on charges of homicide by vehicle and aggravated assault. 1 We affirm.

On August 3, 1990, Cheatham blacked out while driving on Whitaker Street in the Borough of West Mifflin and lost control of his car. The car left the eastbound lane, jumped the curb, and ran into three children sitting on a fence, killing one child and injuring the other two.
