Magnolia Lamar brought suit against Anthony Alexander, and made substantially the following case: In the year 1912 she gave birth to an illegitimate child of John Alexander. During'his life John Alexander freely acknowledged the fact that he was the father of the child, and the child was known by all as Namon Alexander.
