The state appeals from an order sustaining defendant’s motion to suppress heroin discovered in defendant’s trousers while police officers searched a dwelling under a search warrant.

A party of city police officers went to a Portland residence to execute a search warrant at about 11 a.m. The warrant provided for the search of three named persons and the residence for heroin, narcotics, narcotic paraphernalia and items of identification.
