The defendants appeal from a decree of Hon. E. C. Dennis, Circuit Judge, dated June 23, 1937, for the foreclosure of three mortgages on lands of the estate of John E. Godwin, deceased, situate in Florence County. John E. Godwin died intestate in the year 1912, leaving as his only heirs-at-law his widow, Lillie C. Godwin, and his eight children, to wit, Fred B. Godwin, John C. Godwin, Annie L. Godwin, Pearl Godwin, Elma Mae Godwin Moore, Lizzie Godwin (since deceased), Willie Godwin and Albert Godwin. Mrs. Elma…
