Proceeding pursuant to section 298 of the Executive Law to review an order of the State Human Rights Appeal Board, dated February 26, 1981, which affirmed a determination of the State Division of Human Rights, dated August 11, 1980, which, inter alia, directed the petitioner to pay to respondent Robert L. Sears the principal sum of $337,822 as compensatory damages for discrimination based upon age.
