In his first amended complaint, plaintiff Richard Warren 1 alleges that defendants Fox Family Worldwide (“Fox”), MTM Productions, the Christian Broadcasting Network (“CBN”) and Princess Cruises have infringed copyrights in music he composed for the television series “Remington Steele.” Warren asserts that he is the beneficial owner of the copyrights, which Fox, MTM and CBN have infringed either by selling broadcast rights to, or broadcasting, episodes of the series without accounting for and paying royalties to him.
