This case comes to us on an appeal from The Public Service Commission. The Cheltenham & Abington Sewerage Company, organized under the provisions of the General Corporation Act of 1874, as amended by the Act of 1893, P. L. 476, filed tariffs increasing the rates for sanitary sewage service and private storm water drainage service, and creating new charges to municipalities for surface drainage. Complaints were filed with the commission by various individuals and by the Townships of Abington and Cheltenham, Montgomery County. The commission reduced the rates fixed for…
