On the 9th day of June, 1917, the steamship Ada was destroyed by a torpedo near Aberdeen, Scotland. She was insured against certain war risks. These actions were instituted to recover on nine separate policies of insurance issued during the month of September, 1916, at the city of New York. The issues in all *610the actions are practically the same.
