This was an action by the plaintiff, Gary T. McClain, against the defendant, Reliance Life Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., for an alleged libel based upon a letter set forth in the complaint reported herein. The plaintiff alleged in part that he was a rural mail carrier in the employ of the United States government, and that the defendant, acting through its agent, one Anderson Sibley, wrote and published the letter in question to C.
