The principal issue in this appeal is whether a voluntary arbitration panel is bound to apply the doctrine of claim preclusion to a second arbitration claim involving the interpretation of the same provision of a contract between the same parties. The defendant, Doctor’s Associates, Inc., appeals1 from the judgment of the trial court confirming an arbitration award in favor of the plaintiff, Michael J.
