It is clear, under all the evidence in this workmen’s compensation case, that John Royko, the husband of the claimant, while in the course of his employment on December 16, 1937, as a miner in one of the defendant company’s coal mines, suffered an internal injury to the physical structure of his body, consisting of the rupture of an ulcer which for a considerable, but indefinite, period of time had been developing in his jejunum— the portion of the small intestine between the duodenum and ileum — and that the immediate cause of his death on the following day was a…
