MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

NEWCOMER, District Judge.

This complex securities action was filed by the plaintiffs on March 23, 1976 as a class action on behalf of purchasers of Westinghouse Electric Corporation securities in the period December 7, 1971 to December 1, 1975. In an amended complaint filed April 23, 1976, the plaintiffs allege that the defendants engaged in a course of conduct involving material misrepresentations and non-disclosures throughout the class period which artificially inflated the price of Westinghouse securities.
