This was a statutory action in the nature of ejectment. The parties claimed title through a common source, one Watson. Plaintiff (appellant here) claimed through a sheriffs deed, while defendant claimed through a deed from Watson. Plaintiff recovered a judgment against Watson in the law and equity court of Walker county. A certificate of this judgment was issued and recorded in the probate office of Cullman county on April 1, 1908.
