The Motor Car Mutual Fire Insurance Company was a mutual insurance company, operating qnder article 10-A of the Insurance Law of this State. It was placed in liquidation by an *232order of the Supreme Court of this State, dated and entered March 7, 1922, upon application of the Superintendent of Insurance. He immediately thereafter took possession of its books, records, assets and other property.
