Dowling, J.-

-Indictment for murder in the first degree. Plea of not guilty, and special answer that the appellant was of unsound mind when the offense was committed. Trial by jury, and verdict of guilty, with the death penalty. Motion for new trial overruled, and judgment on verdict.

It is not denied that the verdict was right upon the evidence. The supposed errors, for which a reversal of the judgment is demanded, arise upon an adverse ruling upon an objection by appellant’s counsel to a single question asked by the prosecuting attorney, the exclusion of the answers of a witness for the State…
