' This ■ action was' originally brought against Frank L. Lang and Reed McKinley, who were officials of Kansas City, Missouri, and against Charles Spitcaufsky' and Hy-man Spitcaufsky, doing business as C. & H. Wrecking Company, to recover damages for the unlawful tearing down and removal of certain parts of two buildings and for the appropriation of certain portions of the contents thereof belonging to the plaintiff, and for an injunction to prevent further demolition of -the buildings- and removal of-their contents.
