Appeal from an order of the district court granting a petition for a writ of mandamus.

Dr. Joseph Lenough Anderson petitioned the District Court of Lyon County for an order directing Howard A. Bellows, M. L. Shane, and G. T. Mitau, who are, respectively, the president of Southwest Minnesota State College, the dean of the faculties in that institution, and the chancellor 1 of the State College Board, to reinstate him as chairman of the Division of Humanities at the college and to afford him a hearing upon due notice with respect to his dismissal from this position.
