This action was brought by tJie appellant against the appellees to recover $1,000 claimed to he due to the plaintiff as a broker for services rendered in and about a sale of certain property which belonged to the defendants. The defendants interposed a plea of the general issue, and'also a special plea, to the effect that plaintiff had not taken out a license as a real estate broker. A demurrer to this second plea ivas interposed, and was overruled by the court.
