Appellant Justin Dondan-ville entered a conditional plea of nolo contendere to possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to eighteen months in a regional punishment facility. On appeal, Dondanville argues that the trial court erred in denying (1) his motion to suppress his statements given while in police custody and (2) his motion to suppress evidence seized at the time of his arrest that was subsequently destroyed by the police.
