This appeal from the trial court raises three evidentiary rulings in a medical malpractice action. The action was brought in two counts by Brendan P. Farrell, a minor, and his father, Thomas F. Farrell, as parent and guardian of Brendan P. Farrell, against the defendants, St. Vincent’s Hospital (St. Vincent’s), Nettie Rousso, Dr. Walter T. Shanley, Dr. Joel H.
