This product liability action brought by the plaintiff, Maria Del Socorro Herrera Hernandez, as personal representative of the estate of Jose Francisco Martinez Villalon, deceased, arises from an October 5, 2002, rollover automobile accident in Tabasco, Mexico, involving a 1996 Ford Explorer. The decedent, plaintiffs husband, was fatally injured in the accident. The trial court denied defendant Ford Motor Company’s (Ford) motion to dismiss on the basis of forum non conveniens.
