This matter came before the Court on January 7, 1997, pursuant to the defendant’s motion for judgment of acquittal or in the alternative for a new trial. When the Government failed to timely oppose defendant’s motion, the defendant renewed his motion on March 11, 1997, requesting the Court to deem conceded the motion for judgment of acquittal.
