The defendant, Abin Britton, appeals directly to this court pursuant to General Statutes § 51-199 (b) (3) 1 from his judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of one count of manslaughter in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55 (a) (1), one count of felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c, two counts of kidnapping in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (A) and (B), and one count of robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (1).
