WALKER, J., Specially Presiding,
Defendant, Cyril H. Wecht, former coroner of Allegheny County, has been charged in a four count information with various violations of the law relating to the operation of the Allegheny County Coroner’s Office and certain private laboratory services offered by defendant, all of which are intertwined. The first count of the information charges theft of services under the Crimes Code, as amended, 18 Pa.C.S.A. §3926(b). The second and third counts allege that defendant submitted unsworn falsifications to public servants in violation of 18 Pa.C.S.A. §4904(a)(l).…
