Plaintiff Deborah Fitzpatrick, with whom others later sought to join as plaintiffs, sued a physician, the clinic with which he was affiliated, and a hospital for the alleged wrongful death of her husband and “diminished chance of recovery,” alleging that his death on November 14, 1991 was caused by the negligence of the defendants. The trial court dismissed the action.
