FACTS
Plaintiff Szopko was a crew member of the S. S. Buckeye Monitor, a Great Lakes freighter owned by defendant Kinsman Marine. The vessel was docked at Conneaut, Ohio, to unload a cargo of taconite pellets. Pittsburgh and Conneaut Dock Company owned and operated the dock and was *656responsible for the unloading operation. The dock company is not a party in this case.
