Plaintiff-Appellant Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH (“Sanofi”) appeals from the decision of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California granting summary judgment of noninfringement of its U.S. Patents 5,849,-522 (“the '522 patent”) and 6,218,140 (“the '140 patent”) in favor of Defendant-Appellees Genentech, Inc.
