This is a motion to nonsuit the plaintiff, upon due notice served, for want of diligent prosecution of his action, and is based on the following statement of facts appearing in the record, viz.: March 15th, 1918, summons and complaint served; March 27th, 1918, a demand by the defendant that the plaintiff file security for costs, the plaintiff being a non-resident; that security for costs had not been filed on the opening day of the November term, 1918, nor any other steps taken to speed the cause.
