I. Background
In this case, which arises from the termination of the plaintiff-employee by the defendant-employer, the defendants have filed a motion for summary judgment.
A. Factual Background
Plaintiff Richard Canfield (“Canfield”) was hired by defendant Con-way Freight, Inc. (“Con-way”), a trucking and logistics company engaged in the transportation of heavy freight in interstate commerce, in April, 2003 to work as a Supplemental Driver Sales Representative (“DSR”).
