I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff Kenneth Thomas (“Thomas”) brings this action against his former employer, iStar Financial, Inc. (“iStar”) and iStar Vice President of Administration and Operations, Ed Baron (“Baron”) (collectively, “Defendants”), alleging unlawful race discrimination and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq. and the New York City Human Rights Law (“NYCHRL”).
