Gillette domiciled in Norwich died on June 10th, 1927, leaving a will which was duly admitted to probate, the third paragraph of which is: “I give, devise and bequeath all my right, title and interest in the residuary estate under the will of Alice Buck, late of Andover, Massachusetts, deceased, to Charles L. Stewart of said Norwich in trust, or if he die before me, or be unable to act, or decline the trust, then to the Thames National Bank of Norwich as such trustee, to hold the same during the natural life of my said sister, Florence C.
