OPINION

SWEET, District Judge.

Defendant Atlas Turner Inc. (“Atlas”) has brought a trio of post-trial motions in response to a jury verdict entered in favor of plaintiff Linda Hamilton (“Plaintiff’) in an asbestos action. First, Atlas has moved for judgment as a matter of law pursuant to Rule 50(b) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, or in the alterative for a new trial pursuant to Rule 59(a).
