Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court *1321(Teresi, J.), entered December 1, 2008 in Albany County, which, among other things, granted petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law article 81, to appoint a guardian for the person and property of respondent.
