This contested Mental Hygiene Law article 81 proceeding for the appointment of a guardian was settled after extensive conferences pursuant to a stipulation of settlement dated October 27, 2015, which was “so ordered” by this court on November 12, 2015. The stipulation of settlement provided that the petition was withdrawn without prejudice, and that the motion by Madeline H., the alleged incapacitated person (hereinafter the AIP), to dismiss the proceeding, was withdrawn.
