Appellant Emil Bair appeals from a judgment of no cause for action in this Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq. (“ERISA”) suit and from the District Court’s grant of ap-pellee’s motion to strike appellant’s demand for a jury. Appellant sued appellee General Motors Corporation (“GM”) under 29 U.S.C. § 1132 (section 502) to recover early retirement benefits, which he claimed GM had contractually agreed to provide.
