The state appeals an order dismissing a charge of driving while suspended (DWS). Former ORS 487.560. We reverse.
On February 19, 1981, the Motor Vehicles Division (MVD) notified defendant that, pursuant to former ORS 484.210(2),1 her license would be suspended for an indefinite period for failure to appear in court. The notice informed defendant that the suspension would not take effect for 20 days and that she was entitled to a formal hearing, if it was requested within 20 days.
