This is an action to quiet title to the following described real property, in Grays Harbor county, Washington:

“That portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NW % of SE %) of Section 16, Township 18 North, Range 11 W. W. M., described more particularly by metes and bounds as follows:
“Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section, thence Easterly along the Southerly boundary line of said Quarter to a point 50 feet from Jessie’s slough; thence North on a line parallel with the Westerly boundary line of said Northwest…
