I. INTRODUCTION
At issue in this action is U.S.Patent No. 5,207,675 (“the 675 patent”). The 675 pat ent relates to an electro-surgical 1 device which facilitates blood coagulation. 2 The plaintiffs, Jerome Canady and Argon Elec-tro-Surgical Corporation (collectively “Ca-nady”) own the 675 patent.
