The complainant is the owner of letters patent No. 618,4¾8 that were issued on the 31st day of January, 1899, to William J. Morrison and John C. Wharton, of Nash*973ville, Tenn., for improved candy machines, and it brings this suit against the defendant claiming that he has infringed the patent, seeking relief in a suit in equity by injunction, an accounting, etc. The answer disputes the validity of the patent, and denies infringement.
