ALMA WILSON, Justice:

The appellees (Crocketts) sued the appellants (Martins) to quiet title to mineral interests and to obtain a money judgment for production proceeds. Although both parties originally moved for summary judgment, the Martins subsequently opposed the motion on grounds that certain instruments were ambiguous and extrinsic evidence was required to explain the intent of the parties. The trial court granted summary judgment and quieted title in the Crocketts to one-half of the minerals down to and including the Bartles-ville Sand and all of the minerals below that formation.
