This action involves a claim for a widow’s allowance as authorized by Sec. 286 et seq.; of the Texas Probate Code, V.A.T.S. Jeanne Moore, widow of Virgil C. Moore, deceased, made application to the Probate Court of Dallas County for such allowance and was awarded $42,366, less certain offsets and advances. W. Lee Moore, Jr., in his capacity as Temporary Administrator of the Estate of Virgil C.
