Plaintiffs Jonathan Ross and David Lev-in bring this putative class action on behalf of those who purchased life insurance from AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company *427(“AXA”), alleging that AXA violated New York Insurance Law Section 4226 by engaging in various “shadow insurance” transactions in connection with its life insurance business.
