Gianocostas v. Interface Group-Massachusetts, Inc.

In March, 1999, Jennifer Gianocostas, a twenty year old college student, became ill while vacationing at a hotel in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Following several days of treatment at the hotel’s medical clinic, Jennifer, an insulin-dependent diabetic, was transferred to a local hospital. Her condition worsened, and the next day she was transported to a hospital in Miami, Florida. By that time, Jennifer’s medical condition was critical.
