A Barrow County grand jury returned an indictment charging Jason Hayes with one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute 1 and one count of possession of methamphetamine. 2 Following a trial by jury, Hayes was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Hayes appeals from the denial of his motion for new trial, challenging the sufficiency of the evidence to support his conviction.
