delivering the opinion.

It appeal's from the record in this case, that one John Sikes, was in his life time, indebted to the Justices of the Inferior Court for the county of Baker, by note, in the sum of eight hundred dollars, given for money in his hands, belonging to the said county. At the time of his becoming a debtor to the county, he was himself a member of the Inferior Court. In what character he acquired the funds of the county does not appear. He died, and Benjamin M. Griffin became administrator de bonis non upon his estate. The Inferior Court filed a rule nisi…
