These cross-appeals are from an Order and judgment entered on September 11, 1989 awarding plaintiff-appellant, Kathleen Novelli, a total of $825,000 in connection with a suit she and her now-deceased husband brought against defendant-cross-appellant and several other defendants for (a) injuries he suffered by inhaling asbestos they manufactured; and (b) Kathleen Novelli’s loss of consortium.
