CASE SUMMARY

The United States brought this action to recover judgment against the decedent and his wife, makers of a promissory note given to obtain a loan from the Farmers Home Administration, and to recover judgment against four individuals who pledged a certificate of deposit to the United States to secure payment of the note. The decedent’s wife, Janet M.
