First, consistent with prior published decisions of this court, I would find that this court lacks jurisdiction to consider an appeal by H.G. and D.G. (Maternal Cousins) from the district court’s ruling that the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) failed to make reasonable efforts or progress toward finding an adoptive placement for N.A.C. Second, even if this court has jurisdiction to consider the appeal, I would conclude on the merits that the district court’s decision was supported by substantial competent evidence.
