The petitioners, former Providence May- or Vincent A. Cianci, Jr. and former Chief of the Providence Fire Department James Rattigan, seek review on certiorari of an order by the Superior Court denying without prejudice their motion for summary judgment. 1 The underlying dispute arose after the respondents, Theodore J. Fabrizio, Jr. and Stephen J.
